AhlulBayt News Agency: The UN Security Council will hold an open meeting on Tuesday evening, at the request of Algeria, Guyana, Switzerland and Slovenia, to discuss the food security situation in Gaza.
“At the request of Algeria, Guyana, Switzerland and Slovenia, the UN Security Council will hold an open meeting on Tuesday evening at three o’clock New York time to discuss the food security situation in Gaza”, the Algerian Foreign Ministry said.
The UN has warned that “food insecurity in the Gaza Strip has reached a very critical situation”.
The Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip stated that the continuation of the Zionist enemy’s ban on the introduction of food and medicine threatens the lives of more than 700 thousand Palestinians.
